Over the years I've bought and installed many e-bike conversion kits and decided to give these guys a try.  Idealmall8/eBay or easy-shop8. I purchased this KT-50A controller because the price was right and they seemed to have some good reviews. However, upon installing this KT 50 amp controller I realized this purchase may have been a mistake.  It only worked in reverse for a couple of seconds. The pedal assist never worked at all.   
 After 36 wire combinations, I got it to go forward, again for only a couple of seconds before it died.  I have bought some controllers in the past that were problematic but received replacements promptly.  The company has gotten back to me and asked for this video explaining what the problem is and to see if they could walk me through it.  I've been working on electric bikes for over 10 years. I used every wire combination you could think of. This controller does not work. However, I waited too long to plug in and test because of the backlog I have for e-bike orders.  Let's see if this company does the right thing and sends a replacement or is it just going to cost me more to send it back to China? Then wait another month to get a new one?  I can't have my customers waiting 2 months for their bikes to be ready. The controller itself had great stats and seemed like it would be a great upgrade if it had only worked.  I will keep you all posted!

The scratches on my head was from the bike pedals, When it did go in reverse it engaged the pedals for some reason.
